Firework Shows!! 2010

Looking for somewhere to take the family to watch fireworks this weekend!? There are 24 Firework shows to choose from! (Thanks to Tonya for forwarding us the information from!)

Please check the venue’s website before venturing out for any updated information.

Murray City
They are offering an all-day Fourth of July celebration:
- Breakfast (6:30am-10am at pavilion #5 - Adults $5; Children $3)
- 5K race (8am; $15-$30)
- Kids Race (9am; ages 4-9; $10; must preregister)
- Parade (8:30am; starts at Fashion Place and ends at Murray Park)
- Free games, food booths, paid activities (face painting, games, rides, fishing booth, dunking machine, etc.)
- Entertainment (a magic show, live music, contests, a talent show, etc.)
- An evening concert by the Endless Summer Band (8:30pm) followed by:
- Fireworks (10pm).Check the city's website for a schedule and complete details.

- Parade, fireworks of course (friday), concert in the park, 5k run, breakfast in the park and more. schedule of events at

- Freedom 5K Fun Run/Walk
- Pancake breakfast
- Parade down State Street
- A vendor fair, kids activities, live entertainment, and fireworks
- Most activities are held in Fisher Park, but some are held at other local venues; see the website for a complete schedule of events and locations.

- 10 am to 10 pm Saturday, July 3, 2010 on the beautiful grassy South Towne Promenade between Sandy City Hall and the South Towne Center at 10000 South and 175 west

- 10 AM to 10 PM Booths/Entertainment at Davis High School south parking lot

- 10 PM Fireworks at DATC/DHS area.

North Ogden Cherry Days
- 5K Fun Run and Mayor’s Walk at 7 a.m. at the North Ogden IHC Health Center.
- Children’s Parade at 9:30 and the main parade at 10 a.m.
The parades start at 2850 North and Washington Blvd. (400 East) continuing south to 1900 North, where it will head east and disperse at approximately 450 East and 1800 North.

Park City
Several activities to celebrate Independence Day!
- Breakfast at 7 a.m. at City Park, 1354 Park. Ave. followed by a 5K run.
- The parade, which features over 70 floats, begins at 11 a.m.
- There will also be a lot of food and music.
- Fireworks are at Park City Mountain Resort at dusk.

Brighton 4th of July Breakfast
Adults $6-$8; Children $5-$7
Families can head up to the top of Big Cottonwood Canyon (AKA the Brighton Loop) for a community breakfast. Choose from steak, eggs, and pancakes; omelets and pancakes; or sausage, eggs, and pancakes. This is a very popular annual event, so parking can be a bit of a hassle. Street parking is common, and carpooling is highly encouraged.

They will be celebrating with a breakfast, Fun Run/Walk, a parade, and a children’s carnival, among other activities. All will be held at the Layton Commons Park. The night will end with a concert from the New American Philharmonic with Cannoneers at the Ed Kenley Amphitheater, followed by fireworks.

West Jordan
- The day begins at 10 a.m. with a parade and continues through the day with festivites.
- At 8:30 p.m. the clay animation gem "Wallace & Gromit" will be shown at an outdoor theater at Veterans Memorial Park. Afterward, the skies will be ablaze as Independence Day is celebrated WJ style.

Oakley Fourth of July celebrations
- Begins at 7:30 a.m. with a Freedom Run 5K.
- At 10 a.m. there will be a parade, which begins at the Oakley Recreation Complex and ends near Oakley City Center.
- At 8 p.m. it’s the PRCA Rodeo, followed by fireworks.

Lehi City
- Annual fireworks show at Electric Park in Thanksgiving Point. Concessions are available starting at 7pm. Families can bring their own blankets for lawn seating.

Air Supply will perform at the Tooele High School Football Field. The performance begins at 8 p.m.. Gates open at 7 p.m. There will be fireworks after the concert. For more information, visit their website.

The Canyons
Saturday July 3rd. Independence Day bash features music by the Disco Drippers and a huge fireworks display. The concert takes place in the Canyons Resort Village. Park in the main lot and ride the Cabriolet into the Resort Village. No blankets or chairs can be brought in before 5pm. Due to the popularity of this event, carpooling is advised.

Sugarhouse Park
They always have a great firework show. Concert starts at 7:30, fireworks at dusk, 9:45 or so.

Stadium of Fire
Saturday July 3rd - BYU Lavell Edwards Stadium

Pleasant Grove
Fireworks display this year at the Pleasant Grove High School football field. The show, which begins at dusk, will last approximately 25 minutes and include 10,000 fireworks. Pleasant Grove High School football field, 700 E. 200 South, Pleasant Grove

American Fork Steel Days
July 14, 10 p.m.
Art Dye Park, 1100 N. 500 East, American Fork
$8 for those age 8 and up; ages 8 and younger free

- A half-hour fireworks show is scheduled as the grand finale to American Fork Steel Days's aptly-named "Big Show." The musical extravaganza will include performances by Utah musicians Ryan Shupe & The Rubberband, Peter Breinholt and Jon Schmidt.
- Tickets are required to gain access to Art Dye Park and view the fireworks show, although city officials say the fireworks will be visible from outside the park.

Cedar Hills Fireworks Spectacular
July 21, 10 p.m
Vicinity of Cedar Hills Drive and 4600 West, Cedar Hills
- The $15,000 fireworks show, produced by Vortex Productions, will also include updated music selected by city officials "It is one of the biggest fireworks shows in the state of Utah every year," Decker said. "Last year we were named third in the state.

Riverton Celebration

Saturday, 6:30am
- Flag raising ceremony, chuckwagon breakfast
- 9am to 12noon is family swimming at the south County Pool (12765 South 1125 WEst) Diving for dollars, tanning contest, greased watermelon and more free games at 10am -- F-16 Flyover by the us air force! 3:45pm to 4:15pm Haystack dive, south east park lawn.
- 10pm Fireworks

They are hosting a three-day celebration of the 4th of July. Check the website for the complete schedule of events and for parade route information. Most activities take place in Copper Park, but some events occur at other Magna parks/venue.

  1. Although many may know this it might be good to note that The Canyons concert and fireworks are on Saturday July 3 not Sunday as some might assume.
