♥ A benefit dinner in honor of Alexis Rasmussen will be held November 1, 2011, at the Marriott Hotel, Grand Ballroom, 247 24th Street, Ogden, Utah from 6 to 9. All members of the public are invited and welcome to attend.
If you choose to enjoy dinner, meal tickets will be sold at the door for $10.00 each, however, purchasing dinner is not required for entry into the event. Dinner will be buffet style and donated by several local restaurants, and the Grand Ballroom is being donated, compliments of the Marriott. Prize drawing tickets will be sold throughout the night for $1.00 each as well as wristbands bearing Alexis's name. Other festivities include a silent auction, a balloon release, and a bake sale. Please bring with you a yellow or green balloon.
Donations for a silent auction, prize drawings, and cash contributions are very appreciated and are being accepted at The Law Offices of Raymond Rounds, 2650 Washington Blvd., Suite 102, Ogden, UT, M-F, 8:30am-5pm, (801) 621-4015, and Children & The Earth, 252 W. Cottage Avenue, Sandy, UT, (801) 721-4410, or arrangements can be made for pick up by one of our volunteers. Anything anybody can donate would be greatly appreciated.
Please know that all money raised as well as any cash donations go directly to the family to aid in funeral expenses and to help them through the upcoming holiday season.
We are still in need of the following donations if at all possible:
- Paper products (serving utensils, plates, silverware, napkins, cups, etc.)
- Any type of prizes
- Yellow and Green w/ribbon and Helium tank
- Volunteers: 10-15 for set-up, and 10-15 for clean up

UPDATE 10/26/11: On behalf of Alexis Rasmussen's family, we are retracting the statement reported that the family does not need further help or donations, and in lieu of donating to the family, please donate to a charity of your choosing. There was a simple misunderstanding. WE ARE MOVING FORWARD and THERE WILL BE a fundraiser on November 1st @ the Marriott in Ogden, as stated above. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
