Utah Refugee Month

The month of June is Utah Refugee Month, and many of the activities are free and open to the public!

This Saturday is the World Refugee Day Festival:

12:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Granite High School football field
3305 South 500 East  Salt Lake City
Sponsored by the Utah Refugee Coalition, Refugee Services Office,
Dept. of Workforce Services, & City of South Salt Lake.

In honor of UN sanctioned World Refugee Day, Utah is thrilled to join in the global celebration of refugees worldwide, celebrating the lives of our local refugee friends.  This festival is the highlight of Utah Refugee Month.  Filled with refugee performing artists, mouthwatering cuisine, artisans, culture, and sports, this   festival is an opportunity for refugee communities to showcase their country and culture to our welcoming community while we join in celebration of their courage and strength.

View more activities and events on the Utah Refugee Month website.
