It’s been 35 years since The B-52s (Fred Schneider, Kate Pierson, Cindy Wilson, Ricky Wilson and Keith Strickland) released the band’s self-titled album, which featured the quirky “Rock Lobster.” Since those days playing parties in their native Athens, Ga., the women in the band have lost their beehive hairdos, but the group continues to tour and please fans with its long list of infectious tunes, which are sure to make you stand up and dance.

And what better way to warm up the crowd than with fellow ’80s rockers Squeeze. Having reunited in 2007, Squeeze is still fronted by original band leaders Chris Difford and Glenn Tillbrook. They will share their warm, friendly, melodic sound with the Salt Lake City crowd. Squeeze’s set list could include classics like Tempted, Black Coffee in Bed and Pulling Mussels from a Shell.

Pack your picnic, put on your dancing shows and don your beehive hairdo for what promises to be a great evening of music. It will feel like reuniting with an old friend after years apart.
