Date Night: Survivor

The BYU Museum of Peoples and Cultures (MPC) invites couples to celebrate a daring and exciting night out at the “Survivor” themed date night on Friday, September 20th at 7:00 PM.

“This date night is crazy,” Samantha Gilbert, promotions manager at the MPC, said. “It’s so much fun and offers a new take on date night.”

Survivor has fun prizes, big challenges, and great food. Couples will be divided into two tribes and compete in four different activities to try and get the most points for their group. These activities will push couples to search and scavenge, test their brains, and even stomach a difficult task. Whichever tribe gets the most points will win a prize, and the top two scoring couples will receive special prizes.

“The couples always have a lot of fun,” Gilbert said. “The activities are exciting and this unique date night is definitely a fan favorite.”

Tickets for Survivor are $10 a couple and will be available for purchase at the WSC information desk beginning Monday, September 16th.

The MPC hosts events to serve the academic mission of BYU and care for anthropological, archaeological, and ethnographic collections in the custody of the University. Educating visitors through thrilling events allows the MPC to branch out in creative ways that benefit the BYU community. For more information, visit facebook.com/byu.mpc or mpc.byu.edu. The MPC is located at 100 E. 700 N. in Provo, Utah.
